Yes, that is a wonderful thought ! RSS will allow you to fetch data from a specific site (which you would trust) and that would act as a good filter! The news in your RSS feed adapts to your interests based on the articles you read. Posted by Greg LindenThe biggest problem with this is keeping the data secure since, as far as I know, there isn't a security model built into RSS or any other kind of feed (honestly I plead ignorance on this point). In any case, if someone intercepted your RSS feed, they'd know how much you have in your account or have access to other sensitive info. How would you counter that problem?
